Energy Capital & Power – in partnership with the African Energy Chamber’s U.S.-Africa Committee – hosted the first-ever U.S.-Africa Energy Forum, which took place on 16-17 December, 2021 in Houston, Texas and introduced American companies to African opportunities.
Key themes included the energy transition and Africa as a clean energy hub, energy storage and strategic minerals, Africa’s place in global energy supply chains, gas as a vital fuel for the energy transition and development, the ongoing role of petroleum resources, and repositioning the U.S. as the primary partner of choice for African energy developers.
