Namibia’s position as one of the final frontiers for oil and gas exploration, with approximately 11 billion barrels of oil and 2.2 trillion cubic feet of natural gas, has attracted an influx of foreign oil corporations looking to participate in the country’s lucrative hydrocarbon environment.
Working in collaboration with Namcor, as well as the Ministry, these participating international oil companies – QatarEnergy, Shell, ReconAfrica and TotalEnergies will serve to catalyze Namibia’s projected hydrocarbon boom, positioning the country at the forefront of global oil and gas exploration.
