
SNPC Showcases Congo’s Energy Future with Key Participation at the Congo Energy & Investment Forum 2025

The Société Nationale des Pétroles du Congo (SNPC) is pleased to support Congo’s energy future and investments through its prominent participation at this year’s Congo Energy & Investment Forum (CEIF), taking place from 24–26 March 2025 in Brazzaville, Republic of Congo. Hosted in collaboration with the Ministry of Hydrocarbons and other strategic partners, this premier event convenes government leaders, industry experts, investors, and key stakeholders to explore the latest opportunities and projects that are set to transform the Republic of Congo’s energy sector.
As the national oil company, SNPC’s mission is to drive sustainable growth and responsible development of the country’s hydrocarbon resources. Through its participation at CEIF as a diamond sponsor,
SNPC underscores its commitment to:
- Advancing Gas Monetization and the Congo Gas Master Plan SNPC leaders shared insights into ongoing efforts to monetize Congo’s substantial gas reserves for domestic power generation, industrial growth, and export. Discussions included regulatory reforms, infrastructure development, and strategies to foster long-term value creation within the nation’s evolving Gas Master Plan.
- Driving Oil Output and Upstream Innovations Amid discussions on newly discovered and mature fields, SNPC highlighted its role in landmark projects that aim to increase the Republic of Congo’s hydrocarbon output over the next three years. Special attention was given to frontier exploration, cutting-edge drilling techniques, and environmental stewardship.
- Strengthening Midstream and Downstream Capabilities With a focus on expanding refining capacity and optimizing petrochemical infrastructure, SNPC outlined its roadmap for meeting growing petroleum demand and ensuring efficient, sustainable supply chains across the subregion.
