Shelf Drilling’s Jack-Up Rig Secures Contract in Nigeria

Drilling contractor Shelf Drilling Shelf Drilling has been awarded a two-year contract for its Main Pass IV jack-up rig. The contract is set to commence in December 2024, with the rig deploying offshore Nigeria.

The Main Pass IV is a 300-ft F&G L780 Mod II jack-up rig and has a maximum drilling depth of 25,000 ft and can accommodate 92 people.
