ReElement Technologies, Novare Partner on African Critical Minerals Refining Facility

South African investment firm Novare has partnered with U.S.-based rare earth downstream company ReElement Technologies Corporation to develop integrated rare earth refining facilities across Africa.

The $100 million project will leverage ReElement Technologies’ chromatographic separation and purification solution and Novare’s capital to establish Africa’s first fully integrated critical mineral refining platform.

Set to launch in the second half of 2025, the initiative will be executed through a joint venture based in Africa.

The partnership aims to help African nations maximize the value of their natural resources while driving industrial and economic development across the continent.
