Petronor Reports Stable Output at PNGF Sud Field in Congo

Independent oil and gas company Petronor E&P has reported a Q2 2025 average net production of 4,240 barrels of oil per day (bpd) from the PNGF Sud field in the Republic of Congo.
Marking a slight decrease from 4,303 bpd in Q1 2025, production efficiency increased to 90% from the 2024 average of 86%.
According to the company’s operational update, two workover crews are currently reinstating idle wells to boost output. Meanwhile, Petronor E&P replenished its overlift position in the first half of 2025 and is currently building entitlement oil inventory ahead of a planned lifting and sale in Q4 2025.
Drilling operations have also commenced at the Tchibouela East oil and gas field with the arrival of the Rig Axima, initiating a five-well infill program aimed at increasing production capacity in the second half of the year.
