Noble Secures $171M Offshore Drilling Contract in Ghana

Offshore drilling contractor Noble Corporation has secured a $171 million contract with independent energy firm Tullow Ghana to deploy its Noble Venturer drillship for exploration services in the west African country.
Noble Venturer will drill six wells as part of the 360-day contract as from May 2025. The first two wells will be completed within 120 days, followed by a drill rig maintenance period through the end of 2025. The remaining four wells are scheduled for drilling as from January 2026.
The exploration campaign will enhance Tullow Ghana’s energy business and contribute to the growth of the Ghanaian economy, according to Blake Denton, SVP of Marketing and Contracts at Noble.
