Libya has increased production from the AA-10 well at the onshore Fareeg field, according to an announcement from the National Oil Corporation on Monday.
Output has reached 1,600 barrels per day (bpd) – up from 250 bpd – with the potential to increase further following the full completion of well works.
Libya is spearheading efforts to increase its production to 2 million bpd by 2027, on the back of marginal field development, new greenfield projects and the deployment of enhanced oil recovery techniques.
