
Guinea-Conakry to Build 40 MW Solar Plant

General Mamadi Doumbouya, Transitional President, Guinea-Conakry has authorized the construction of a 40 MW solar plant in Kindia.
Once completed, the Khoumagueli Solar Power Station – the first solar PV facility in the country – will be connected to the national grid and supply electricity using existing transmission lines.
The power station’s location will also position it to contribute to the West African Power Pool.
