Ghana: Tullow Oil Resumes Drilling at Jubilee Field
Share This Article
Multinational oil and gas company Tullow Oil – through its Ghana subsidiary – has restarted drilling operations at the Jubilee Field.
The campaign follows the successful completion of an earlier program that delivered 18 wells ahead of schedule and under budget.
“The restart of drilling reflects another milestone in our journey in Ghana and demonstrates our confidence in the country’s resource base,” stated Jean-Médard Madama, Managing Director, Tullow Ghana.
The phased drilling campaign will begin in May 2025, with further activity scheduled for November and into 2026.
A 16-day maintenance operation was completed ahead of the restart to reduce risk and upgrade facilities.
