Eni, Ivory Coast Sign MoU on Sustainable Agriculture
Share This Article
Energy major Eni has signed a memorandum of understanding with Ivory Coast’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to develop new projects in the agricultural and agro-industrial sectors.
Spearheaded by Eni’s subsidiary Eni Natural Energies, the projects aim to convert rubber residues – a widely-cultivated crop in Ivory Coast – into raw materials for biofuels and bio-refining.
Serving as part of Eni’s broader sustainability initiatives, the agreement is set to enhance Ivory Coast’s rubber supply chain while promoting growth in the agro-industrial sector.
