Integrated energy company Eni has increased gas processing capacity at the Offshore Cape Three Points (OCTP) integrated oil and gas project in Ghana from 246 to 270 million standard cubic feet per day. The OCTP project now supplies approximately 70% of Ghana’s domestic gas while powering approximately 34% of the country’s power needs.
The expansion was executed by Eni’s Ghanian subsidiary Eni Ghana (44.4%) alongside partners Vitol Upstream Ghana (35.6%) and Ghana’s state-owned Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (20%).
“This upgrade reflects the strength of our partnerships and our shared commitment to Ghana’s energy transition and long-term sustainability,” stated Maurizio Pinna, Managing Director, Eni Ghana.
