Trade between the Republic of Congo and China has grown to over $6 billion as of 2025.

According to Qiu Jianming, Attaché for the Chinese Embassy in Congo, this trade volume represents an increase of over $5.9 billion since the early 2000s, when trade between the two countries represented less than $100 million.

Several key infrastructure projects resulting from bilateral cooperation have contributed to increasing trade between both countries, including the construction of an aircraft maintenance center and the implementation of a national telecommunications coverage program.

Looking ahead, Congo and China intend to maintain momentum in their partnership by pursuing projects of shared interest and supporting broader cooperation goals.
