The International Center for Foreign Trade of Senegal (CICES) has announced plans to transform its existing site in central Dakar into a major international commercial and economic hub.
The project will involve the rehabilitation of existing infrastructure and the development of new facilities, including a 60-storey tower, exhibition halls, office spaces, residential apartments, a theme park, museum, 500-seat conference hall and a business hotel. Covering 20 hectares, the complex aims to position CICES at the heart of Senegal’s economic transformation.
Technical and financial feasibility studies are already well advanced, with construction scheduled to begin by the end of 2025.
The future business center will also serve as a venue for trade fairs and industry seminars, organized in collaboration with sectoral ministries to drive engagement across priority sectors.
