CEVA Logistics, a subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group, has announced its expansion into the Republic of Congo and Gabon as part of a broader strategy to strengthen its footprint across the Central African Economic and Monetary Community (CEMAC) region.
Building on its existing operations in countries such as Angola and the Democratic Republic of Congo, CEVA is launching direct operations in Congo aimed at enhancing ground and rail freight connectivity both within the country and across neighboring CEMAC states.
The company has been actively investing in Africa’s logistics infrastructure, with a focus on improving trade corridors and facilitating more efficient cross-border cargo movement. This latest initiative is expected to benefit key sectors – including mining, agriculture and manufacturing – by improving market access and streamlining transportation services.
