AOP 2017: Oil & Gas Trading Highlights

Key challenges are facing Africa’s downstream and trading sectors, including limited refining and storage capacity, a lack of investment in upstream and midstream projects, the regulation of specs as Africa imports the majority of its refined products and the low oil prices. The panelists from Africa Oil & Power’s Oil & Gas Trading panel tackled these topics and highlighted important opportunities in the trading sector.
Sebastian Wagner, Executive Director of DMWA Resources, moderated the panel, with panelists including: Cholo Seane, Executive Director of Aquila Petroleum and Chemicals Trading; Frank Monkam, Origination & Investments of Gunvor Group and Guillaume Quiviger, Senior Investment Manager of Vitol.
