Angola is engaging with luxury jeweler Tiffany & Co. to explore opportunities for sourcing diamonds from the country.
The country’s Minister of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas Diamantino Azevedo met with representatives from Tiffany in early June 2025 to discuss potential collaboration and to strengthen Angola’s standing in the global diamond industry.
As one of Africa’s biggest diamond producers, Angola seeks to increase production through new investment and development. The country’s diamond production is set to rise significantly, with the government targeting 17.5 million carats by 2027.
